dr. Robert neagle
Dr. Neagle has spent more than thirty years working in the commercial finance industry. He has served in senior marketing, business development and P&L management positions with Fortune 500 companies (AT&T Capital, CIT, Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) Capital Corporation, First Data Corporation) and smaller entreprenueral private equity owned firms (Ascentium Capital). He has also been active in the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association in a variety of roles, including as a member of the editorial board of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Journal, a member of the Board of Trustees of the ELFA Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors and Executive committee of the Equipment Leasing and Financing Association, as well as an author and speaker at numerous commercial finance and banking forums.
He is currently President of Ascentium Capital’s Merchant Finance business.
Prior to entering the business world, Dr. Neagle was an instructor in the English department of Loyola University Chicago where he taught writing, drama, and fiction. Most recently he was a member of the adjunct faculty at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Ramapo College in NJ.
It is the unique combination of thirty years of experience in business, college level teaching at two points in time more than 20 years apart, and a love of the liberal arts, that makes Dr. Neagle uniquely qualified to offer such a seminar.
